Founded in Baidoa during the darkest days of the civil war, Huneyn Welfare Society stands with the orphans, the displaced and the forgotten — delivering relief, education, water and care across south-central Somalia for over three decades.لقد قامت جمعية حنين الخيرية من أجل هدف نبيل وسامٍ، نابع من صميم العقيدة الإسلامية واهتمام المسلم بأخيه المسلم المنكوب، وسط الظروف السيئة والمريرة والواقع المؤلم الذي يعيشه الشعب الصومالي من حروب أهلية ونكبات.

Huneyn Welfare Society was founded in Baidoa in 1992 amid the chaos of the Somali civil war. From its first day it stood by orphans, widows and the displaced — and today it runs relief, education, health, water, livelihood and faith-based programs across south-central Somalia.تأسست جمعية حنين الخيرية في بيدوا عام 1992م وسط فوضى الحرب الأهلية الصومالية. ومنذ يومها الأول وقفت إلى جانب الأيتام والأرامل والنازحين — واليوم تدير برامج الإغاثة والتعليم والصحة والمياه والمعيشة والدعوة في جنوب الصومال.
